Consumer Education & Research Centre CERC is a non-profit, non-government organisation set up in the year 1978 for promotion and protection of consumer interest through education, advocacy, effective uses of media and public interest litigation. We also publish a bi-monthly magazine in English ‘INSIGHT – The Consumer Magazine’. It has also set up India’s first in-house laboratory for comparative testing of consumer products.
