National consumers Day Celebration by CERC

National Consumers Day will be celebrated by Consumer Education and Research Centre (CERC) on Tuesday 26 December 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Conference Hall at Consumer Education and Research Centre (CERC), “Suraksha Sankool”, Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway, Thaltej, Ahmedabd - 380 054. A film on “Alert Consumer” will be shown for the entire day to visitors. CERC will also held an exhibition of the Weights and Measurement Department, Government of Gujarat, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Besides, advice on consumer-related complaints will be offered free of charge and the Consumer Products Comparative Testing Laboratory will remain open to all on that day.

The prize distribution of the essay and drawing competitions held by CERC for students of “Consumer Clubs” from 12 schools of Ahmedabad will also be held.

Pamphlets on consumer awareness will be distributed to visitors.

Wall posters will remain on display from 25 to 30 December at the Centre.
